I wrote a story about myself. I checkout out a digital camera from the media center to take pictures of my family. I also had my friend take pictures of me in my classroom. I didn’t have a picture of my favorite food so I drew one. I used Book Creator to make my story. I wrote out my story then I took it home and worked with my sister to make sure I was translating it to Oromo correctly. My sister helped me by pressing start to record my voice speaking in Oromo. Sometimes I get embarrassed to speak my native language when I’m not home. I am proud to share my language with my friends.
