Biography: I have always been intrigued by new things. I love finding out about new things and it’s ins and outs and then showing others how it works. I believe that is what led me into technology as part of my Master’s Program when I started graduate school so many years ago. I have been at Wood River Rural Schools for 10 years now. During that time my title has transformed from Librarian to Media Specialist to now Tech Integration Specialist. NETA has been an important part in my growth as an educator. Way back when I started attending NETA as a first grade teacher, I was blown away by the conference and the valuable resources I was able to take away from that to now presenting frequently and being a part of showing others how technology can impact their teaching. In the past I have volunteered and presented at NETA as well as attending ISTE the last two summers. I am passionate about technology and would like to take that to the next level by helping the NETA Board in reaching other educators and sharing my passion!
