Jenna Krambeck-Reeh

Biography: Prior to accepting my position as the Media Specialist at Elkhorn Valley View Middle School, I spent six years in the reading classroom using technology as an effective vehicle to engage, excite, and enrich my 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students’ reading experience. While I have always been passionate about technology, through the lens of the library, I have seen first-hand the power of connection, collaboration, and communication that technology provides. The library has afforded me the opportunity to collaborate with my fellow teachers through the development of collaborative units and lessons, learning opportunities such as BreakoutEDU, and the implementation and support of new web tools, applications, and extensions. As Elkhorn has begun to pilot a 1:1 initiative, I have relied heavily on the knowledge and skills that have been honed at the NETA conference. Each year after attending NETA I feel a sense of purpose, direction, and drive that is unparalleled. I would love the opportunity to serve on the NETA Board in order to give back to an organization that has given me so much. By lending my skills of collaboration, communication, organization, and creativity, I will work to be an asset on the NETA Board of Directors.
