Biography: My name is Natasha Gault and I have been a South Dakota science and STEM educator for the past sixteen years. Together with my husband and son, I now have the privilege of calling Nebraska and Norris School District #160 my home. As a science and STEM educator, I am an ardent proponent of integrating meaningful technology into classroom learning. In addition, I am also passionate about empowering and challenging students to use technology to solve community and world problems. It is my deep belief that all learning must include experiences in which students are able to increase knowledge and connect it to the world in which they live. My former students have received the following technology problem-solving opportunities: 2015 Bush Grant Award, 2014 Samsung Solve for Tomorrow National Finalist, and 2013 Verizon App Challenge State Winner. As a NETA Board Member, it would be a pleasure to find and share those opportunities with all NETA members. NETA represents a clear and accessible path for Nebraska educators to effectively implement technology into teaching and learning. I would be honored to contribute my expertise and experience to Nebraska students as a member of the NETA Board of Directors.
