MUST Do Before Heading to NETA Conference 2026!!

I have been attending NETA Spring Conferences for many years—in fact, I probably started going when there were still typewriters in buildings! 🙂 Over time, the conference has evolved, and one of the best upgrades has been the use of the Sched app (pronounced /Sked/, rhymes with red).

Once NETA started putting all of the conference programming into Sched, I quickly realized there was no better way to experience the conference. It helps me stay organized, plan ahead, and make sure I don’t miss out on sessions I’m excited about.

You can find the Sched app in either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Use this link to get started and be well on your way to staying connected at one of the best tech conferences in Nebraska:

After downloading, you’ll create an account so your schedule and preferences are saved and easy to access throughout the conference.

Here are a few tips to make your conference days so much easier:

  • Filter by day – This helps narrow things down so you’re not overwhelmed by all the options at once.
  • Build your schedule ahead of time – Go through and favorite the sessions, keynotes, and even the fun events like game nights you want to attend.
  • Follow your personalized schedule – Once everything is selected, you can simply follow your schedule instead of searching each time.
  • Check for updates – Room changes or session updates happen, and Sched keeps everything current in real time.

Taking 15 – 30 minutes before the conference to set this up is a total game changer. You’ll walk in feeling prepared, organized, and ready to soak it all in—without the chaos.  Then you can focus on what really matters—learning, connecting, and bringing back great ideas to your classroom.

NETA2026 is packed with great learning—Sched helps you make the most of every minute!
