Jen Schneider

Biography: Jen Schneider is in her 14th year of teaching and is currently a 7th grade Language Arts teacher at Russell Middle School in Millard. Always focused on lifelong learning, she is a PhD student at University of Nebraska-Lincoln studying Instructional Technology. Along with her research, Jen has written and will be teaching courses in innovative education at UNL this summer. She is passionate about teaching educators and students how to advance learning by using technology as a tool in the classroom. Jen has presented at NETA, ISTE, NMLA, UNL Tech Edge conferences, and district events on topics related to innovative education, Genius Hour, blogging, curriculum, and EdCamp. She is also an organizer for EdCamp Omaha. As a lifelong Nebraskan, Jen is passionate about connecting area educators both in person and online to share ideas and tell the stories of our schools. Serving on the board would be an honor and allow her to continue to build and connect a community of purpose-driven educators that will positively impact our students.
