Sessions are available for multiple aspects of using technology in education.
Casually visit show and share poster displays and ask questions about successful projects. There will be many show & share sessions with teachers sharing their expertise in an informal format.
Esports continues to grow in Nebraska and has grown from 8 schools to over 50 in just 3 years. See live action and watch area schools compete in SMITE and Super Smash Bros. During the matches you will experience first hand the communication, teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship these students consistently exhibit. Matches will be streamed live on the Nebraska Esports Association’s twitch channel with students running the computers and commentating. Stroll through this in-person esports tournament, and stop by the Nebraska Esports Association’s table to chat with players and coaches.
The AT Playground provides a hands-on opportunity for educators to explore a variety of technologies to create universally designed environments for all students and/or individualized supports children & students (ages birth – 21) receiving Special Education services across the State. Experienced AT Specialists will be on hand to help answer any questions you might have about the assistive technology solutions. All devices on the playground are available as short-term loans to education professionals through EDUCATION.AT4ALL.COM. Come explore the possibilities!

Throughout this summit, leaders will:
Join Boxlight and the Aldrin Family Foundation on a Mission to Mars at NETA. Explore the red planet through a Giant Mars Map, program the MyBot robot to chart a course, use Labdisc sensors to explore your environment, and watch Robo 3D printers in action. The hands-on experience will last from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday in the Grand Ballroom pre-function space. Pop in for a few minutes or sit and play awhile as we explore how you can bring learning to life for your students through the exciting world of space travel.
Visit exhibitors showing software, hardware, books, and other products in the exhibit hall. Visit the exhibit hall and enter to win prizes!
Look for Henry and his trainer, Jeff, each day of the conference during the morning exhibitor breaks.

Pursuant to Article XI, Section B of the NETA Constitution and Bylaws, I, Tom Rolfes, Chair of the NETA Board Governance Committee, do hereby submit the following Bylaw changes for consideration by the NETA membership at their April 2022 General Meeting.
Section VI. Officers and their duties
B. The President Elect shall:
1. Have been a NETA member and have served as a NETA Board Director, Elected Officer, or in an Appointive Position for at least one year prior to being nominated for the position.
