Matthew Carley

I am Matthew Carley, Technology Director for Shelby-Rising City Schools for 11 years. I have served the last 5 years as the NETA board Treasurer and hope to continue my work as Treasurer. Being part of the NETA board has only deepened my commitment to innovative technology use. I have led 1:1 initiatives in four districts, including a K-12 effort at my current district. I strive to place students first and my experience as a classroom teacher helps me support teachers with resources to make technology effective in classrooms. I aim to be a bold, but practical, statewide advocate for students and teachers utilizing appropriate technology for enhanced learning opportunities. It would be my honor and privilege to continue serving as a NETA board Treasurer.
