Ashley Cooksey is a school librarian in Arkansas. Ashley is a Coding and Early Literacy Subject Advisor for codeSpark Academy, a Wakelet Ambassador, as well as a Flipgrid Ambassador and certified teacher. She is a passionate advocate for student voice, blended learning, creating a growth mindset in education, and using social media to enhance learning. Ashley is a fourth-year blogger for AASL’s Knowledge Quest and co-founder of #ArkTLChat, Arkansas’ monthly teacher-librarian chat. She is the recipient of several stat school library awards and one of AASL’s 2018 Social Media Superstars. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys practicing yoga, attending live music, and debating aspects of life with her two teenagers, Rhianna and Brandt.
