Jennifer Davis

Jennifer Davis has been a Technology Integration Specialist at Educational Service Unit 1 since the summer of 2024. In this role, she supports educators across the region by providing professional development, resources, and guidance on effective classroom technology use. She has especially enjoyed teaching teachers about the transformative possibilities of artificial intelligence in education, helping them use cutting-edge tools to enhance student learning.

Prior to joining ESU 1, Jennifer was the Technology Director at Pender Public Schools. She has seventeen years of experience as a classroom science educator, teaching a variety of courses including biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, as well as coaching eSports. Jennifer earned her doctorate in Educational Studies and Instructional Technology from UNL in December 2022. Her dissertation focused on designing an AI-driven chatbot to guide students through learning experiences.

Jennifer is passionate about blending quality technology use with research-based pedagogy. Residing in Wayne, Nebraska, Jennifer loves spending time with her husband and their four talented children. In her free time, she enjoys video games, baking cinnamon rolls, reading, and traveling.
