Biography

My interest in serving as NETA president-elect is shaped by nearly 25 years of service on the NETA Board and a deep commitment to the educators it supports. I have devoted my career to educator-centered technology leadership and professional learning across Nebraska and beyond, serving as a technology-focused professional learning consultant at Educational Service Unit 6 in Milford since 2007, following 10 years as a K–12 technology director in Waverly Public Schools.

I currently serve as NETA’s exhibitor coordinator and have previously served as president, contest chair, and advocacy chair. Through this work, I have supported member engagement, strengthened relationships with partners and vendors, and helped ensure NETA remains responsive to the evolving needs of Nebraska educators while navigating board and organizational challenges.

In addition to NETA service, I teach technology leadership courses for the University of Nebraska and regularly lead professional learning workshops for schools nationwide. Through my work as a Google Innovator and globally connected educator, I have experience scaling professional learning communities during times of rapid change. I remain committed to supporting NETA as a trusted, educator-focused organization grounded in service, stewardship, and practical impact.
