Show & Share Poster Sessions

Casually visit show and share poster displays and ask questions about successful projects. There will be many show & share sessions with teachers sharing their expertise in an informal format.

Live Esports Tournament

Esports has been on the rise in Nebraska growing to just shy of 80 schools in 4 years. Come and watch students from around the state compete in the games Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. During the matches you will experience firsthand the communication, teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship these students consistently exhibit. Matches will be streamed live on the Nebraska Esports Association’s Twitch channel with students running the computers and commentating the matches. Stroll through this in-person esports experience to learn what your school might be missing out on.

Assistive Technology Playground

The AT Playground provides a hands-on opportunity for educators to explore a variety of technologies to create universally designed environments for all students and/or individualized supports children & students (ages birth – 21) receiving Special Education services across the State. Experienced AT Specialists will be on hand to help answer any questions you might have about the assistive technology solutions. All devices on the playground are available as short-term loans to education professionals through EDUCATION.AT4ALL.COM. Come explore the possibilities!

Dig Cit Symposium

How many conferences have you attended with a bunch of great ideas, but no time to plan or implement them? This interactive workshop is designed for administrators to attend with a +1 or +2 with your edtech coach or library media specialist as an opportunity to dive deep into the six pillars of Digital Citizenship.

Discover innovative ways to infuse how to be alert, balanced, engaged, informed, inclusive, and ultimately how to be creative problem solvers: IMPACTORS in local, global, and digital communities. During this workshop, you will learn how to incorporate these skills and concepts into your current K-12 curriculum to empower students in their navigation, consumption, and creation of their current world.

BONUS: In this workshop, you will leave with more knowledge and resources relating to information literacy and digital citizenship, which are topics included in the new Computer Science and Technology Education Act (LB 1112) in the state of Nebraska (2024-2025).
