Session Proposal Deadline December 1, 2009
With Thanksgiving this week, please don’t delay. You will only have 2 days to submit your session if you wait until after Thanksgiving break.
Are you thinking of submitting a session for the NETA 2010 Conference? If your session is chosen, this allows you (lead presenter) to register at a reduced rate of $25 (instead of $115). One of the strengths of the NETA Conference is the NETA members who are willing to share their expertise with others. Please don’t wait until the last minute to submit your session proposal. We need to adhere to the December 1 deadline in order to begin the review process, and get the session schedule completed and up on the web in a timely manner! If you are a Learning Web 2009 team or a grant recipient, then you need to submit your session as well (can be either poster or 45-minute demonstration session). Click on the [2010 Session Proposal] button on the following site:

Hotel for ISTE Conference in Denver!
We have just been notified that the NETA block of rooms will be at the Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver. However, right now they have not yet reserved rooms for us for the Thursday and Friday prior to the conference, even though that was in our original request. If you plan to stay in the NETA block and need a room for Thursday or Friday (June 24-25), would you please complete the following survey by November 9th so I can notify them how many rooms we’ll need? Not too many of us need rooms that early, but a few come in for meetings early, so need to know the number of rooms required.
