Biography
My journey in Education started with me earning an Associates in Imaging and Graphic Design, from Metropolitan Community College. I further honed my skills in technology by completing a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from Bellevue University. I then went on to complete a Master of Science in Education from the University of Nebraska Kearney. My professional work experience includes providing support as a Technology Integration Specialist at Westside Community Schools since 2014. I assist teachers in integrating technology tools to support existing curriculum, implementing differentiated instructional techniques, and conduct professional development for teachers and staff. Prior to this role, I provided technical support within the Boys Town middle school from 2001-2014. I also bring over 25 years of post-secondary teaching experience as an Adjunct Information Technology Instructor for Metropolitan Community College. Outside of work I currently serve as the President of the local graduate chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and I also enjoy Scrapbooking, and Crafting. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 30 years, and I have a daughter who recently graduated law school, and a son who works for Microsoft as a Software Engineer.
