Biography
Jennifer Davis has been the Technology Director at Pender Public Schools since 2017. She has seventeen years of experience as a classroom science educator and has taught biology, chemistry, physics, physical science, computer science, and 6-8 grade science courses. She graduated from UNL with a doctorate in Educational Studies and Instructional Technology in December 2022. Her dissertation work entailed designing an AI-driven chatbot that guides students through a series of biology learning experiences. In her current role, she serves as both the technology coordinator and integration specialist for the elementary and secondary schools. She is an expert in a broad range of tools and techniques across all grade levels and works hard to blend quality technology usage with research-based pedagogy. She coaches the school’s eSports team and likes to play computer games with her players and family. Jennifer lives in Wayne, Nebraska with her husband, four cats, a dog, and the three of her four kids still at home. She likes to read and travel whenever she gets the chance.
