Jennifer Davis

Bio:
Jennifer has seventeen years of experience as a classroom educator and has taught biology, chemistry, physics, physical science, computer science, and undergraduate education courses. She currently serves as a computer science teacher and Technology Director at Pender Public Schools, where she spearheads efforts to support all students and staff members in technology integration.
Jennifer completed her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Instructional Technology and Science Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2022. Her dissertation focused on utilizing chatbots to create guided learning experiences in the science classroom. Through her research, she demonstrated the value of chatbots in making learning more interactive, personalized, and engaging for students.
She is an expert in a broad range of tools and techniques across all grade levels and works hard to blend quality technology usage with research-based pedagogy. She coaches the school’s eSports team and likes to play computer games with her players and family. Jennifer lives in Wayne, Nebraska with her husband, four cats, a dog, and the two of her four kids still at home. She likes to read and travel whenever she gets the chance.
