Biography

Weston Kieschnick is a Senior Fellow at the International Center for Leadership in Education. He co-authored The Learning Transformation: A Guide to Blended Learning for Administrators. He also created and hosts Teaching Keating, an acclaimed podcast featuring educators from around the country. Mr. Kieschnick’s teaching career began internationally in Hamilton, Bermuda where he served as both teacher and department chair for social studies. During that time he was a 3 time recipient of the public schools’ “Most Influential Teacher” award. For the past 14 years, Weston Kieschnick has been sought after by US and European consulting firms deliver instructional coaching, develop curriculum, and facilitate professional development seminars. His travels have afforded him the opportunity to work with students, teachers, and administrators from every state in the US and more than 30 countries around the world.

In 2009 Kieschnick moved to Denver, Colorado to shift his focus from traditional models of education to online and blended learning. Since then he has worked as a blended learning Teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, Instructional Development Coordinator, and Dean of Education. Weston resides in Colorado with his wife Molly and his children, Everett and Charlotte.
